Making Sure that You are Gas Safe

Apart from having your gas appliances checked regularly. There are a number of others things people can do to keep safe. It is vital that the chimney flue taking the carbon monoxide fumes away from your gas boiler is correctly maintained.

In order for this to happen an engineer needs to be able to gain access to the flue. If this is not possible than a viewing hole needs to be created, so that a viewing is then possible. Any hole will have a cover installed to minimise any heat loss. It’s so vital that the flue is kept clear and that nothing can obstruct the carbon monoxide emissions. Carbon monoxide is the invisible killer, which someone will not know about until it is too late. Make sure that you keep your gas appliance properly maintained and that only a gas engineer from the registered gas installers register does the work.New Paragraph
